Veteran news anchor LAURIE DHUE is the Founder of Laurie Dhue Media, which provides media relations counsel and communications training to a wide variety of clients. Dhue is the only anchor to have hosted shows on all three major cable news networks: CNN, MSNBC and Fox News Channel. She most recently served as the primary news anchor on The Blaze TV. In the last 25 years, Dhue has reported on every major news story and has interviewed countless world leaders, politicians, entertainers and other prominent newsmakers.
Dhue is in long-term recovery from alcohol and drug addiction and is one of the nation’s leading recovery advocates. She has worked closely with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD). She has also spoken on behalf of the Hazelden and Betty Ford Foundations and has served on the Caron Foundation’s New York Advisory Board and the National Youth Recovery Foundation board. Dhue travels coast-to-coast giving speeches, emceeing events and moderating panel discussions about addiction and recovery.
Dhue hails from Atlanta. She is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a letter-winning member of the Varsity Swimming Team and an Academic All-American.
